Near the muzzle where the light is coming from looks like it can be a little more defined, and even a bit brighter. But that's not really a major thing to worry about, but the background could be more detailed to be more pleasing to the eye; such a great piece without a nice detailed background isn't a complete picture!
And..the front paws. The right one, more further away seems a bit deformed. There is a bump right above the paw and that seems a bit weird. If you check out paw anatomy, you'll see that it's not always like that from some views. And the very front one, the left one, is a little hard to understand? What I mean is that the further away the paw gets, the higher it gets. Unless Ammy is on a slope, it shouldn't be like that. The two middle "fingers" on a canine's paw are usually the biggest. So I suggest working on that ^^
But overall, this is a very great piece and I definitely favor that fire! Very smooth and flowing as well as the tree branch and flowers. Lovely job.
The markings are spot-on, just about as close as you can get without actually taking it from the game. The petals are done very nicely, indeed! The way you make them float away from the branch even though they're still connected is simply stunning; it gives it space and opens it up, inviting the eye to waltz in and enjoy the sight!
The only things I can really crit deeply is the fur and tail. They're both awesome, don't get me wrong! The fur looks very nice around the neck and shoulders area, but it seems that once it makes it down to the torso area, it's losing that luster. You did do an excellent job with it, however, and just the fur isn't going to vary my vote a lot!
Alrighties, now for the tail. First off, it seems a bit long for a wolf; maybe it's just me, but it's seeming to drag a bit, and the length of it is distracting my eye slightly from the rest. But still, I love it! The tail carries the look of the ink on the end very well; I'm not sure how you did it, but whatever you did, don't change it! I do believe that this is a fabulous piece of work. Even if the background is simple, it adds! An over-done background would have ruined it, in my opinion; but this, this is...beautiful!
Oh, one more thing; the shadow cast by the tail seems like it should be on the opposite side, considering the flame on the disk would make them fall that way.
Amaterasu is indeed very beautiful in your style! I do enjoy this piece, and I am sure I always will. Please, continue the great work that you do!
